PROJECT INTRODUCTION
In 2011, the Public Security Department of Shaanxi Province made an effort to promote the video surveillance network project and built a video surveillance network covering urban and rural communities, governments, public places and etc. throughout the province. By the end of 2011, the province had completed the establishment of 280,000 video surveillance camera locations. In 2012, the video surveillance coverage rate of urban society, urban communities and critical parts reached 100%, and the coverage rate of rural communities and villages reached 60%.
SOLUTION
Kstar won the bid for the second phase of the ‘Skynet project’ of Shaanxi Province, China, and provide HP series UPS for the surveillance system throughout the province which ensure all the cameras running well all time.
