PROJECT INTRODUCTION

The project is to provide cooling systems for the largest international data center(Total investment more than 1.8billion dollars) in the central part of China.

SOLUTION

A data center cooling system commonly used in mid-to-large-sized data centers. In this case, 172 units of Kstar MT series precision air-conditioner was deployed in this huge data center to maintain suitable temperature for critical devices, including 22 unints of 50kw, 43 unints of 120kw, 22 unints of 130kw, 75 unints of 150kw. All of them are chilled water types with EC fans sank below the raised floor.

The water-cooled system is more efficient in removing excess heat. This advantage comes from the fact that water or any liquid coolant has higher heat capacity, density, and thermal conductivity than air. This allows the system to transfer more heat over greater distances. Also MT series has outstanding performance in eliminating hot-spots and energy-saving, which can improve energy efficiency 20 to 50 percent.
