Softcontrol, a technical distributor for the residential and commercial from Denmark, visited KSTAR factory and CATL-KSTAR joint venture in China recently. During the visit, Kim Jespersen, CEO of Softcontrol, had the opportunity to visit KSTAR inverter and all-in-one energy storage product lines, which produce CATL batteries, with the hope of establishing a partnership in the future.
The visit allowed Softcontrol to gain a direct understanding of KSTAR's advanced manufacturing processes and technology, as well as the company's commitment to quality and innovation. Mr. Jespersen was impressed by the level of expertise and professionalism demonstrated by the KSTAR team, and was particularly interested in the company's energy storage solutions with CATL battery.
At the CATL-KSTAR factory, Mr. Jespersen was able to experience the collaborative efforts between CATL, a world-leading lithium-ion battery manufacturer, and KSTAR, a leading provider of solar inverter and energy storage systems. The two companies have joined forces to develop and produce high-quality all-in-one energy storage products since 2019.
"Denmark is expected to lead solar development in the Nordic region. The country will add 9 GW of PV by 2030, followed by Sweden with 3 GW. The Nordic region is set to become a European renewables powerhouse, according to an energy organization report.” Said Mr. Jespersen.
