Chinese leading data center infrastructure supplier Kstar gained its position as the eighth-largest modular UPS supplier globally and four-largest supplier in Asia, according to global market information advisory firm Omdia. The ranking is based on the market share during the past year.
According to Omdia's MODULAR UPS TRACKER report, global Modular UPS revenue grew 9.5% and reach $1.1bn in 2020 despite the COVID-19 pandemic and will reach $1.3bn in 2021. The driving factors of the Modular UPS market include rising interest for right-sizing UPS systems, strong demand for data center computing and storage.
