KSTAR Marks International Day for Biological Diversity with Green Manufacturing Commitment
SHENZHEN, China | Every year on May 22, the International Day for Biological Diversity calls on individuals and industries alike to reflect on humanity's relationship with the natural world. For KSTAR, that reflection translates directly into action.
Biodiversity is the invisible infrastructure on which all life depends. Its erosion — driven by pollution, habitat loss, and climate change, is inseparable from how the world produces and consumes energy. Addressing it requires industry to take responsibility.
Green by Design
KSTAR has been recognized as a National Green Factory by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, meeting rigorous standards across clean production, waste recycling, low-carbon energy, and non-hazardous materials. All core operational sites hold ISO 14001 environmental management system certification.
Rooftop PV systems across KSTAR's facilities generated approximately 57.2 million kWh of clean electricity in 2025 — powering production lines with the same energy solutions KSTAR delivers to customers worldwide. A self-developed energy feedback system captures electricity generated during product testing and routes it back into operations.
Products that Enable A Lower-Carbon World
At the heart of KSTAR's product portfolio is a comprehensive data center infrastructure offering, spanning UPS systems, precision cooling, modular micro-module solutions, and intelligent power distribution. In 2025, KSTAR invested RMB 294 million in R&D, with key focus areas including megawatt-scale UPS and liquid cooling solutions tailored for the next generation of AI data centers.
On this Biodiversity Day, KSTAR reaffirms that protecting the planet's ecosystems begins with how we choose to build, produce, and power the world, and that a greener industry is the foundation of a more biodiverse one.
