The world’s leading UPS manufacturer and data center infrastructure solution provider Kstar has announced the new YDC3300(50-200kVA) series UPS –The next generation of high-efficiency power protection products and the latest products in the company's widely acclaimed YDC model series.
Based on the advanced IGBT and digital signal processing (DSP), it features online double-conversion technology for high power protection and power quality in very compact-size. These UPSs can achieve 96% efficiency and high PF 1.0 thereby reducing the power and cooling costs. The high-efficiency helps users recover the initial investment in 2 years.
It is designed to provide strict voltage regulation, frequency regulation, and zero transfer time to the battery during a power failure, making it ideal for small and medium data centers and applications such as manufacturing facilities, transportation, automation, broadcast environments, critical communications/telecommunications, hospitals/medical facilities, schools, as well as industrial and commercial facilities.
The UPS can be run in parallel (up to 6 units) or for redundant operations to offer a much higher level of availability. It also reduces the risk through the power walk-in function, which can ensure the rectifier is started gradually and reduce the impact of the starting current on the system. By compact design, it has a smaller footprint in the class and thanks to the thick coating, it can be well protected against dusty, humid, high-temperature environment, making it ideal for the unique requirements of edge computing and critical infrastructures.
The 3 Phase UPS is available from 50 to 200kVA, the maximum charging current of a single machine is 60A, which can meet all long back-up time requirements. With a high power factor up to 1.0, it can supply power to 100% unbalance load. It also has high adaptability for load, it can connect full inductive load or capacitive load.
