KSTAR Launches New Rack-Mounted UPS HPM33XXE-RT for Edge Computing

Kstar, the leading manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) &modular data center, has launched a new version rack-mouted UPS HPM33XXE series. Building on the best-in-class reliability of the KSTAR UPS platform, the HPM rack-mounted UPS provides a dependable and cost-effective power backup solution with a higher power density, a smaller footprint that makes it the ideal solution for distributed IT and edge computing environments.

The newest UPS is available from 10kva to 50kva. The 10-30kva only occupies 3U rack space while 50kva occupies 4U, which takes the leading position in the UPS industry with the same power capacity. Adopting unique power unit redundancy design,10~30KVA series allows up to four UPS units to cover the same load in parallel while 40~50KVA allows up to six UPS in parallel thus greatly improving the reliability of the system. What's more, with traditional double-conversion online design, it offers the highest protection against all power. 

The HPM33XXE rack UPS not only combines all the features that making Kstar UPS one of the most popular uninterruptible power supplies in the IT market but has higher efficiency. It incorporates front-end Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuitry, to achieve a true sine wave output, making it more suitable for sensitive electrical or electronic items such as laptop computers, stereos, laser printers, certain specialized applications such as medical equipment and etc.

With a power factor of 0.99 and a high overload capacity of 150%, it is capable of handling a range of input voltages from 138 V to 485 V. Users can also choose from several operating methods such as Smart Active, Frequency Converter, or Eco mode, to enhance performance and reduce power consumption.
