The plant is a Nigerian glass manufacturer located in Lagos State. At the end of 2019, the diesel generators in the factory often failed, and the owner wanted to replace the generator with the most advanced and reliable technology-UPS system.
A UPS differs from an auxiliary or emergency power system or standby generator in that it will provide near-instantaneous protection from input power interruptions, by supplying energy stored in batteries, supercapacitors, or flywheels.
